একটা মফঃস্বলের পুজোর গল্প। ন্যাড়াদা বাপনের হাত দেখে জানিয়েছে, এবার পুজোয় অনেককিছু বদলে যাবে। অরণ্য, বাপনের ছোট্টবেলার বন্ধু, পেখমকে ভীষণ ভালোবাসে। এখনও বলে উঠতে পারেনি যদিও। এবার পুজোয় কি তাহলে, পাকাপাকিভাবে অরণ্যর হয়ে যাবে পেখম? পেখমের মনে কি অন্যকিছু চলছে? অরণ্য কি সত্যিই বাপনকে সত্যিই বন্ধু ভাবে?
একটা ছিমছাম পুজো মণ্ডপের উচ্ছ্বাসকে কেন্দ্র করে ঘুরছে অনেকগুলো মানুষের জীবনের সমীকরণ। 'প্রেমপক্ষ' শুধু প্রেমের গল্প নয়। বন্ধুত্বের গল্প। ক্রমশ হারিয়ে যেতে থাকা পাড়ার ছবি। পুজোর মেজাজ। মানুষের মনের মধ্যে চলতে থাকা ব্যক্তিগত রাজনীতির কথা।
Three childhood friends — Aranya, Bapon, and Pekhom — grew up together in the same neighborhood. This Durga Puja, Aranya finally decides to confess his long-hidden love for Pekhom, with Bapon as his trusted ally. But destiny has other plans. In the middle of the festive chaos, Pekhom realizes her heart belongs to Bapon. Friendships are tested, emotions shatter, and by the end of the Puja, the three drift apart, walking their separate paths.
