Erick Thohir Buka Suara soal Regenerasi Pelatih Klub Sepak Bola hingga soal Fasilitas JIS
JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Ketum PSSI Erick Thohir buka suara terkait pelatih klub bola yang harus regenerasi.“Kalau 514 kabupaten-kota ada 25 klub, artinya ada 12.000 klub. Kalau kali 3, kan 1 pelatih, 2 asisten kan? Berarti perlu 36.000 pelatih. Tadi jumlahnya 15.000, kurang. Makanya percepatan-percepatan ini perlu kita dorong,” kata Erick, Jumat (18/7/2025).
Erick juga mengaku sudah minta sama PSSI untuk mendorong ASPROV yang namanya biaya lisensi kepelatihan harus dimurahkan.
“Karena dengan hadirnya pelatih seperti Coach Patrick, Coach Gerald, Coach Frank, Coach Mochi, Coach Akira, ataupun banyak pelatih di liga mereka wajib transfer knowledge. Jadi biar ada pelatih-pelatih kita mulai lahir. Seperti Coach Nova yang berhasil meloloskan kita ke Piala Dunia U17. Mesti ada regenerasi terus. Tidak hanya pelatih asing terus, tapi pelatih lokalnya harus terus kita dorong,” jelasnya.
Lebih lanjut Erick juga sempat membahas terkait fasilitas JIS.
“Saya tadi melihat JIS, ini kangen sama JIS. Karena kalau datang ke JIS selalu dibuat kontroversi. Padahal saya dari dulu sayang sama JIS. Apa yang saya sampaikan di JIS itu bukan politik. Saya ingin JIS ini dipakai,” kata Erick.
