Una narrazione che gli autoproclamati professionisti dell’informazione ci hanno venduto per più anni in relazione al conflitto ucraino. Ebbene, oggi si torna alla vecchia narrazione imperiale. Quella secondo cui l’aggressore, se coincide con Washington, rappresenta democrazia e libertà. E viceversa l’aggredito, coincidente con chi a Washington resiste, si identifica con barbarie e totalitarismo.
Nulla di nuovo sotto il sole, invero. È la vetusta ideologia imperiale con cui la potenza americana giustifica il proprio desiderio di dominazione planetaria. E l’annessa volontà di annichilire, in ogni modo, ogni resistenza, nonché di liquidare ogni governo variamente difforme rispetto al Washington Consensus. Sicché viene sempre presentato come stato canaglia, rogue state, lo Stato che resiste a Washington. E analogamente viene bollato puntualmente come dittatore il presidente di turno che non si piega alla dominazione a stelle e strisce.
