Qui ne s’est jamais pris pour une star, chantant pour ses fans avec un micro imaginaire dans son salon ? Certains ont fait ça avec “The winner takes it all” de Abba. Est-ce un tube commercial ou un chef-d'œuvre ?

Agnès Gayraud est philosophe et musicienne, à la tête du groupe La Féline. Dans son livre “Dialectique de la Pop” (La Découverte, 2018), elle s’appuie sur les travaux critiques de Theodor Adorno sur l’industrie culturelle pour penser la musique populaire enregistrée et en déplier tous les paradoxes.

La pop est-elle une forme d'art ou bien un produit de l'industrie ? La musique peut-elle être populaire sans être commerciale ? Les tubes peuvent-ils être des chefs-d’œuvres ?
