Juru Bicara PDI-P Guntur Romli mengatakan, sikap ini sama seperti saat PDI-P menolak kehadiran Tim Nasional (Timnas) Sepakbola Israel pada Piala Dunia U-20 tahun 2023.
"Sikap kami adalah pilihan konstitusional bahwa bangsa Indonesia tidak boleh memiliki kerja sama dengan pihak-pihak penjajah."
"Selama Israel masih menjajah tanah Palestina," kata Guntur dalam keterangan tertulis, Rabu (8/10/2025).
