Video muestra al médico palestino Safiya con grilletes en las muñecas y los tobillos

El médico pediatra de Gaza Hussam Abu Safiya ha sido visto en las imágenes de un video que fue transmitido por la televisión israelí. Esta es la primera vez que se lo ve a Safiya desde que las fuerzas armadas de Israel se lo llevaron por la fuerza en diciembre de 2024 en las afueras del asediado y devastado hospital Kamal Adwan, donde se desempeñaba como director. En el video aparentemente se puede ver al doctor Abu Safiya, quien presenta un aspecto de agotamiento y fatiga, siendo guiado a través de una prisión por guardias enmascarados y con casco. En una declaración, la familia del doctor Abu Safiya condenó la transmisión del video y escribió al respecto: “Rechazamos cualquier medio de comunicación que publique el video sin abordar el terrorismo psicológico allí presente ni exponer la manipulación de sus declaraciones. La visión de nuestro padre con grilletes en las muñecas y los tobillos, e incapaz de moverse debería impulsar una acción inmediata y continua para asegurar su pronta liberación”.
