SONNENFINSTERNIS: Spektakel am Himmel! Auch über Deutschland verdunkelt sich die Sonne

Am Mittwoch, 12.08.2026, schiebt sich der Mond zwischen Erde und Sonne: Eine totale Sonnenfinsternis zieht über Teile Europas. In Island und Teilen Spaniens verschwindet die Sonne vollständig hinter dem Mond. In Deutschland ist das Himmelsschauspiel nur partiell zu sehen und beginnt je nach Standort gegen 19 Uhr. In Berlin startet die Finsternis etwa um 19:15 Uhr und erreicht kurz nach 20 Uhr ihr Maximum. Wichtig: Niemals ungeschützt in die Sonne schauen – zur Beobachtung ist eine geeignete Finsternisbrille nötig.
