Dikutip dari Tribunnews, pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh Menteri Luar Negeri Rusia, Sergey Lavrov, Selasa (24/6).
Menurutnya, Rusia menyambut baik kesepakatan gencatan senjata antara Iran dan Israel yang disampaikan Presiden AS Donald Trump.
Ia pun menilai pernyataan Trump soal perdamaian abadi belum bisa diverifikasi secara nyata.
Lavrov menegaskan bahwa gencatan senjata harus dibuktikan dengan penghentian serangan di lapangan.
Sementara itu, juru bicara Kremlin juga mendukung kesepakatan dan berharap gencatan senjata ini bisa bertahan lama.
Pasalnya, Rusia selalu konsisten mendukung Iran dalam eskalasi konflik besar.
Sebagai informasi, gencatan senjata mulai berlaku pada Selasa (24/6) setelah 12 hari konflik yang dipicu oleh serangan Israel.
