Eddy menjelaskan, dukungan G7 terhadap Israel membuat kehadiran Indonesia dalam forum tersebut tidak tepat.
Ia menilai absennya Presiden Prabowo dari forum G7 merupakan bentuk komitmen terhadap prinsip-prinsip kemanusiaan.
"Apalagi terbukti kemudian di antara kesepakatan negara G7 adalah mendukung Israel dengan alasan membela diri. Langkah Presiden Prabowo tidak menghadiri forum G7 adalah keputusan terbaik," Kamis (19/6/2025).
