In un contesto già segnato da instabilità energetica, la guerra in Iran sta alimentando timori di nuovi aumenti sulle bollette di luce e gas per le famiglie italiane. Il conflitto ha provocato un'impennata dei prezzi del petrolio e del gas naturale, con ripercussioni dirette sui mercati europei. L'Italia, dipendente dalle importazioni energetiche, rischia di pagare un prezzo salato: gli esperti prevedono un aggravio dei costi che potrebbe erodere ulteriormente i bilanci domestici, già provati dagli anni passati. Secondo le ultime stime di Facile.it, basate sulle proiezioni dei mercati energetici, una famiglia tipo potrebbe affrontare rincari annui di 278 euro per il gas e 91 euro per l'energia elettrica nei prossimi 12 mesi.

L'impatto è maggiore per chi ha contratti a tariffa variabile, esposti alle fluttuazioni dei prezzi all'ingrosso, mentre le tariffe fisse offrono una protezione temporanea. Il governo Meloni ha reagito con misure mirate a contenere la speculazione. La premier ha proposto di sospendere temporaneamente il sistema ETS dell'UE per l'energia elettrica, riducendo così la pressione sui costi. Inoltre, ha minacciato un aumento delle tasse sulle aziende che speculano sui prezzi, inclusa una possibile tassa sugli extraprofitti, per finanziare tagli alle bollette. Per l'aumento dei prezzi dei carburanti, Meloni ha detto di voler valutare l'attivazione di un meccanismo di accise mobili. Un provvedimento "tampone", secondo Andrea Polo, direttore della comunicazione di Facile.it.
