Iran War LIVE: IRGC Says 6 ‘Terrorists’ Killed After Planning Alleged Bomb Attack | Tehran
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it killed six members of an alleged terrorist group in southeastern Iran. According to the IRGC’s Quds Base, the operation took place in Zahedan after intelligence and information from local residents helped security forces track the group. Iranian authorities said the suspected cell was planning to carry out a terrorist operation and that explosive devices were seized during the operation. The announcement comes amid heightened security tensions across Iran as the country remains involved in an ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel. The IRGC has repeatedly reported operations against groups it describes as terrorist or foreign-backed cells. The latest development highlights Tehran’s heightened internal security measures and growing concerns over alleged attacks, sabotage and militant activity.---
