PDIP Kritik Gibran Soal Mundur Sebagai Wali Kota Solo: Patut Dipertanyakan

Diketahui bahwa putra sulung Presiden Joko Widodo ini resmi mengajukan surat pengunduran diri kepada pimpinan DPRD Kota Solo pada Selasa (16/7/2024).
Gibran telah terpilih menjadi Wakil Presiden untuk periode 2024-2029.
Gibran datang ke kantor DPRD didampingi oleh Wakil Wali Kota Solo, Teguh Prakosa.
Ketua DPP PDIP Bidang Pemenangan Pemilu Eksekutif, Deddy Yevri Sitorus, menyatakan bahwa keputusan Gibran tersebut aneh.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, Deddy mengaku heran mengapa Gibran baru mundur saat ini dan tidak dilakukan ketika memasuki masa kampanye Pemilihan Presiden 2024. Ia juga menyinggung soal etika.
Deddy mengatakan bahwa Gibran seharusnya menuntaskan pekerjaan serta janji-janji kepada rakyat Solo menjelang berakhirnya masa jabatan.
Ia menganggap keputusan tersebut sangat aneh dan patut dipertanyakan motifnya.
Menurut Deddy, tidak ada urgensi bagi Gibran untuk mundur dari kursi Wali Kota saat ini.
Setelah menyerahkan surat pengunduran diri, Gibran pun mengemasi barang-barangnya dari rumah dinas Wali Kota Solo di Loji Gandrung.
Ia membereskan barang-barang pribadi mulai dari action figure dari berbagai tokoh anime hingga gim-gim ternama, serta mobil-mobilan Tamiya miliknya.
Setelah beres-beres di Loji Gandrung dan kantornya, Gibran berangkat ke Jakarta pada Rabu (17/7/2024).
Meski tidak lagi berkantor di Balai Kota Solo, Gibran berjanji tetap mengawal sejumlah pekerjaan rumah yang masih tersisa di Kota Solo.
Adapun surat pengunduran diri Gibran akan ditindaklanjuti oleh Ketua DPRD, dilanjutkan ke tingkat provinsi hingga akhirnya diterima Kementerian Dalam Negeri.
