Dua kepala desa di Kabupaten Ngawi DM (42) asal Kecamatan Sine dan ES (55) kedapatan terlibat dalam sindikat peredaran uang palsu, bareng tiga pelaku lain dari Jawa Tengah.Bukan hanya diedarkan, uang palsu itu juga dipakai buat foya-foya untuk dugem atau sekadar ngopi di warung.
Para pelaku dijerat dengan sejumlah pasal pidana berat sesuai Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2011 tentang mata uang serta pasal dalam KUHP dengan hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara.
