Padahal, Selat Hormuz merupakan salah satu jalur pelayaran tersibuk di dunia.

Menurut pejabat AS, langkah Teheran dapat meningkatkan konflik yang sudah memanas.
Tak hanya itu, perdagangan global juga dinilai akan terhambat sehingga harga energi dunia dapat meningkat.
Sebelumnya, Iran telah mengancam akan menutup Selat Hormuz.
Upaya ini dilakukan setelah AS meluncurkan serangan menargetkan fasilitas-fasilitas nuklir Teheran.
Saat itu, Washington meminta kepada China agar berdialog dengan Iran agar tak jadi memblokade selat tersebut.
