Hoy dejamos atrás el pantano y ponemos rumbo a Cifuentes, capital de la Alcarria y un pueblo que nos sorprende con historia, rincones con encanto y mucha vida en torno al agua. Visitamos la Ermita de la Soledad, la fotogénica Balsa, la curiosa escultura del Mono y el nacimiento del río Cifuentes. Paseamos por su Plaza Mayor con la iglesia gótica de El Salvador, descubrimos restos de la muralla medieval, conventos e iglesias con siglos de historia, y hablamos de su gastronomía típica, con especial protagonismo para la miel.Seguimos nuestra ruta hacia la Cueva de los Casares en Riba de Saelices, un tesoro de arte rupestre declarado Monumento Nacional, y nos adentramos en el Parque Natural del Alto Tajo, donde paramos en Villar de Cobeta y terminamos el día en el Puente de San Pedro, disfrutando de un refrescante baño en el Tajo y una noche tranquila en plena naturaleza.
Un día completo de autocaravana entre historia, paisajes únicos y el sabor auténtico de la Alcarria.
