Security Primer on Phones: How Phones Can Be Attacked (Not About Privacy)
This video is a comprehensive explanation of the threats to a phone, either from hackers, governments, or other state-sponsored or state-funded parties. This goes into the specific threats and the known vulnerabilities of phones from the security side. While this appears to be a long list, the reality is that these are usually available only for high value targets as most of these are State funded. And just about every single attack is beyond the skill level of an average hacker.
So while this may seem daunting, maybe less than 1% of people will find themselves subject to these threats if at all. But I always remind you that Big Tech has already taken your data. 99% of you have already been attacked. And this is at the privacy level. So take all this with a sense of balance and understand where the real threats lie.
