Sans ce jeune homme, Agnes aurait dû partir en maison de retraite. Du haut de ses 100 ans, elle a trouvé en la personne d’Amir un colocataire mais aussi son meilleur ami. "Nous nous entendons comme larrons en foire", déclare-t-elle avec son charme berlinois.
Agnes Jeschke est décédée en avril 2024, à l'âge de 103 ans, près de deux ans après la fin du tournage de ce reportage.
