Sosok Adnan diketahui putus sekolah sejak kelas 2 SMP lantaran tidak memiliki biaya dan tidak memiliki keluarga yang dapat menanggungnya.
Adnan ditemukan polisi dalam kondisi lelah dan lusuh di perjalanan menuju Subang, tempat tinggal sang gubernur yang dituju.
Aksi nekat itu diunggah melalui akun TikTok @aburidwan08, Senin (9/6/2025) dan menjadi viral di media sosial.
Dalam rekaman video, Adnan mengaku ingin bertemu sang gubernur lantaran berharap mendapat bantuan untuk kelangsungan hidupnya sebagai anak yatim piatu.
Ia pun menunjukkan secarik kertas berisi alamat lengkap kang Dedi dan nomor telepon yang ia bawa sebagai panduan.
Petugas kepolisian yang iba kemudian membawanya ke kantor dan memberi makanan serta tempat beristirahat.
Saat ditanya alasan tak tidur semalaman, Adnan mengaku terus mengayuh sepeda demi tiba di rumah kang Dedi tepat waktu.
Ia menyebut masih memiliki saudara di Jakarta namun tidak tahu pasti keberadaannya, sementara ia kini tinggal di panti asuhan.
"Assalamualaikum Pak Dedi, saya Adnan dari Brebes. Saya ke sini naik sepeda, ingin bertemu Bapak," ucapnya dalam video.
Aksinya pun menyita perhatian publik dan banyak menuai simpati warganet.
Seorang netizen bahkan mengaku mengenal Adnan dan menyebut ia sebelumnya tinggal di panti asuhan lantaran tak ada keluarga yang mampu mengasuhnya.
