The last 10 days before SSC CGL Tier 1 are not the time to panic or completely change your preparation. This is the phase to consolidate what you already know through mocks, revision, PYQs and focused practice.In this video, I share my approach for the final 10 days, including what to do from Day 10 to Day 7 and how to handle the last 3–4 days before your exam.
What to do in the last 10 days?
Mocks & PYQs
Continue attempting 2 mocks a day if that has already been part of your routine.
Attempt PYQs to become comfortable with the exam pattern.
Most importantly, revise the mistakes and questions you saved from your mocks rather than simply chasing new scores.
Revision
Revise Current Affairs, including important one-shot resources.
Revise vocabulary from your existing source/guidebook.
Revisit Maths formulas and important questions.
Keep revising the material you have already studied rather than starting completely new topics.
What to do in the last 3–4 days?
The approach changes in the final few days:
Stop giving mocks and keep calm.
Focus primarily on revision and retention.
Go through your GK notes systematically.
Skim through your Maths and English notes.
Avoid getting distracted by your surroundings and focus on your own preparation.
Analyse important trends and questions from GK and Current Affairs.
If your examination is scheduled later, memory-based tests can be attempted if they are available on platforms.
The most important thing during these final days is to stay calm, trust your preparation and focus on revision rather than trying to learn everything at the last moment.
