"Con Sanae condividiamo anche il fatto di essere le prime due donne a guidare i loro popoli, e questo chiaramente per noi rappresenta un grande onore ma rappresenta soprattutto una grande responsabilità". Lo ha detto la presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, nel corso delle dichiarazioni congiunte alla stampa al termine del bilaterale con la premier giapponese Sanea Takaichi al Kantei di Tokyo. "Responsabilità che - aggiunge l'inquilina di palazzo Chigi - penso possiamo onorare facendo leva su quell'approccio che nella cultura giapponese si riassume con una parola che io considero molto affascinante che è ganbaru. Non vuol dire solamente fare del proprio meglio, significa fare più del proprio meglio, cioè ambire a superare sempre i propri limiti, non accontentarsi mai di dove si è arrivati".
