Otak Pembakaran Wartawan di Karo Beri Uang Rp 130.000 ke 2 Eksekutor, Tak Ada Keterlibatan TNI?

Sosok dalang di balik pembakaran wartawan yakni berinisial B alias Bulang.
Dia memberi uang sebesar Rp 130 ribu kepada dua eksekutor.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi mengatakan B telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Penetapan tersangka terhadap B dilakukan setelah pengungkapan dari analisa komunikasi yang terjadi.
Dengan penetapan tersangka baru, jumlah pelaku pembakaran rumah Sempurna Pasaribu menjadi tiga orang.
Dua pelaku sebelumya sudah ditangkap, berinisial RAS (37) dan YT (36).
Keduanya berperan sebagai eksekutor pembakaran.
Hadi mengatakan B menyuruh kedua eksekutor membeli minyak Pertalite dan Solar dengan diberi uang Rp 130 ribu.
"Tersangka B menyuruh YST membakar, serta memberikan uang Rp 130.000 kepada RAS untuk dibelikan minyak pertalite dan solar yang digunakan membakar rumah korban," ujar Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, melalui aplikasi percakapan WhatsApp, Kamis (11/7/2024) pagi.
Belum diketahui motif para pelaku melakukan pembakaran terhadap Sempurna.
Di sisi lain kematian Sempurna diduga ada kaitannya dengan berita yang dibuatnya soal perjudian di Kabupaten Karo.
Berdasarkan investigasi yang dilakukan Komite Keselamatan Jurnalis (KKJ) Sumatera Utara, Sempurna pernah mengaku kepada keluarga dan rekan-rekan sempat dicari setelah berita soal judi itu terbit, Senin (22/6/2024).
