ROMA (ITALPRESS) - "Abbiamo ricevuto la proposta da parte del presidente Mattarella di accettare per il bene nostro e la tutela della vita umana in generale, che condividiamo al 100%, di deviare la nostra rotta e accettare la proposta di mediazione di portare gli aiuti a Cipro, e da lì poi, grazie all'intermediazione di Nazioni Unite, del Patriarcato di Gerusalemme e del governo italiano come parte logistica, farli arrivare a Gaza. Noi non possiamo accettare l'appello perché questa proposta arriva per evitare che le nostre barche navighino in acque internazionali con il rischio d'essere attaccate". Così, in un video pubblicato su Facebook, la portavoce per l'Italia della Global Sumud Flotilla, Maria Elena Delia."Come dire 'se vi volete salvare, noi non possiamo chiedere a chi vi attaccherà di non attaccarvi, malgrado sia un reato, chiediamo a voi di scanzarvi'. Questo nodo legale non è solo una questione di principio, è una questione sostanziale - prosegue -. Fino ad ora la stessa entità che ha creato questo cortocircuito, cioè Israele, sta commettendo un genocidio senza che nessuno dei nostri governi abbia ancora avuto il coraggio di porre sanzioni, porre un embargo sulle armi, chiudere almeno una parte dei rapporti commerciali".
