Großbrand in der Nacht in Wiesloch – Maschinen und Häckselgut in Flammen
Wiesloch - In der Nacht von Dienstag auf Mittwoch ist es gegen 00.15 Uhr zu einem Brand auf einem Recyclinghof in Wiesloch gekommen.Beim Eintreffen der ersten Einsatzkräfte standen zwei auf dem Gelände abgestellte Holzverarbeitungsmaschinen sowie eine Förderbandanlage in Flammen. Das Feuer griff anschließend auch auf das unmittelbar daneben gelagerte Häckselgut über.
Trotz des schnellen Eingreifens der Feuerwehr brannten die Maschinen vollständig aus. Der entstandene Sachschaden wird auf rund 500.000 Euro geschätzt.
Aufgrund der starken Rauchentwicklung wurde zu Beginn des Einsatzes durch die Integrierte Leitstelle Rhein-Neckar eine Katwarn-Meldung herausgegeben.
Gegen 2.45 Uhr war der Brand vollständig gelöscht. Verletzt wurde glücklicherweise niemand.
Die Freiwillige Feuerwehr Wiesloch und Rauenberg war mit rund 50 Einsatzkräften vor Ort.
