Nel corso di Ignoto X, è emersa una novità definita “clamorosa” dagli inviati: per la prima volta dal 6 marzo 2013 la parola omicidio viene collegata alla morte di David Rossi, allora capo della comunicazione del Monte dei Paschi di Siena. La nuova perizia dell’ingegnere Morfreda, insieme ai lavori della Commissione parlamentare d’inchiesta, ha ricostruito in modo dettagliato la dinamica della caduta.Il corpo di Rossi fu ritrovato dopo un volo di circa 16 metri dalla finestra del suo ufficio, divenuta negli anni uno dei simboli del caso.
