Debojit Das is a visionary who believes technology is not just about innovation — it’s about intention. Blending robotics, automation engineering, and purpose-driven design, Debojit is passionate about creating a future where machines amplify human potential instead of replacing it. Through his speech, Debojit explores how purposeful robotics can solve real-world problems and build a future that serves humanity first. Debojit Das is a 4th-year dual-degree (B.Tech - M.Tech) student at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, specializing in Robotics with a minor in Artificial Intelligence. He is currently a researcher at the IITGN Robotics Lab, one of India’s premier robotics research facilities. He also serves as a Visiting Researcher at Addverb Technologies, India's largest robotics company, contributing actively to the development of one of the country’s first humanoid robots. His TEDx talk draws from his own journey, providing insights on building a rewarding career in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, while highlighting the rapid evolution of the robotics landscape in India. Through his story, Debojit aims to inspire young minds, emphasizing curiosity, purposeful innovation, and the transformative potential of Robotics and AI for society.
