Lo ha detto la premier Giorgia Meloni parlando all'Assemblea Generale dell'Onu. Ma il riconoscimento della Palestina, ha proseguito la premier, "deve avere due condizioni irrinunciabili: il rilascio di tutti gli ostaggi israeliani e la rinuncia da parte di Hamas ad avere qualsiasi ruolo nel governo della Palestina, perché chi ha scatenato il conflitto non può essere premiato". "Israele deve uscire dalla trappola di questa guerra. Lo deve fare per la storia del popolo ebraico, per la sua democrazia, per gli innocenti, per i valori universali del mondo libero di cui fa parte. E per chiudere una guerra servono soluzioni concrete. Perché la pace non si costruisce solo con gli appelli, o con proclami ideologici accolti da chi la pace non la vuole. La pace si costruisce con pazienza, con coraggio, con ragionevolezza".
