Blaulichtreporter filmen Unfälle, Brände und Demonstrationen. Sie begleiten Polizei und Feuerwehr bei Einsätzen und halten alles mit ihrer Kamera fest. Ihre Bilder landen später in den Nachrichten.
Y-Kollektiv-Reporterin Carolin von der Groeben ist mit dem Blaulichtreporter Julian Stähle unterwegs und stellt sich die Frage, wie wichtig dieser Job wirklich ist. Zwischen Blaulicht, brennenden Häusern und Sirenen wird ihr schnell klar: Action und Adrenalin gibt es bei diesem Job ohne Ende.
Aber darf Berichterstattung über Unfälle und Brände Spaß machen? Und wo verläuft die Grenze zwischen seriöser Berichterstattung und Gaffen?
