¿Sabías que hubo un GODZILLA AMERICANO que JAMAS VIMOS? Un Godzilla anterior a Godzilla 1998 de TriStar. Hoy os traigo un video del MONSTERVERSE, no un short, un vídeo, lo habéis leido bien. Ya ha pasado mucho tiempos desde el último video que subí del MONSTERVERSE, donde abordábamos la cronología de este. Y es que el vídeo de hoy promete y mucho, de hecho se trata de un documental de unos 13-14 minutos sobre una película perdida de Godzilla del año 1994, que pudo haber cambiado todo, que abadonó Sony y TriStar y que en su lugar, volcaron recursos en Godzilla 1998, es decir, es una película cancelada de Godzilla. En este minidocumental del MONSTERVERSE os narro la emocionante historia de Godzilla 1994 o Godzilla VS The Griffon o Godzilla VS The Griphon de 1994, un metraje del primer Godzilla Americano que iba a dirigir Jean De Bont junto Terry Rossio y Ted Eliott como guionistas y los estudios Winston, de ahí el llamarle el Godzilla de Stan Wiston. La temática de esta película involucraría a extraterrestres y un aberrante kaiju o titan quimérico llamado The Griffon o The Griphon o el Grifo. La historia curiosamente tiene muchos puntos parecidos a Godzilla 2014 con los Muto, algúna pincelada de Godzilla King Of The Monsters, e incluso con Gamera the guardian of the universe de 1995. De hecho, Toho Studios vendió sus derechos a Sony, pero al fina, por cuestiones de dinero, acabó siendo cancelada y llegando Godzilla 1998. Una historia realmente apasionante que os contaré en este documental y que acompañaré con la lectura de la novela gráfica de Godzilla VS The Griffon 1994, ya que en 2018 se publicó para que el gran público pudiera disfrutar de la obra. Esta obra es de Tod Tennant con Elden Ardiente, y se especifica como Godzilla 94' a Graphic Novelization of the Unmade 1994 film. Espero que la difrutéis, al menos tanto como yo, y que apreciéis los efectos y edicion que con mucho mucho mimo he hecho. Va por vosotros Godzilla Fans! Os leo en comentarios
