Authorities say the 'My Family Is Safe' operation aims to protect traditional family values. Justice Minister Akin Gurlek said legal proceedings were launched against 162 suspects, nine associations and 13 businesses. LGBTQ rights group Kaos GL said dozens of defenders were detained or faced legal proceedings. The raids have drawn condemnation from rights groups and European lawmakers, who called the crackdown a serious escalation of repression.---
