IDF telah melakukan kebohongan, mengatakan para anggotanya mampu melenyapkan pejuang Hamas dan milisi perlawanan Palestina lainnya.
Propaganda itu dibongkar eks Ombudsman Pasukan Pendudukan Isael, Mayor Jenderal Angkatan Darat, Yitzhak Brik, dilansir Selasa (2/7/2024).
Brik mengatakan, kenyataannya IDF jarang terlibat pertempuran langsung dengan milisi Palestina.
"Klaim bahwa kami membunuh puluhan atau ratusan pejuang di setiap pertempuran adalah kebohongan total, dan hampir tidak ada orang (prajurit) yang berperang dengan berhadapan langsung (direct combat) dengan pejuang Hamas," kata Brik.
Para korban tewas di Gaza kebanyakan disebabkan oleh serangan udara buta IDF.
Sebaliknya, ia mengklaim justru banyak tentara IDF yang tewas karena terjebak strategi milisi perlawanan Palestina.
