Así secuestraron a Aldo Moro - ¿Negociar o no?
El 16 de marzo de 1978, uno de los políticos más importantes de Italia fue secuestrado en pleno Roma después de una emboscada brutal en la que murieron sus cinco escoltas. Aldo Moro desaparecería durante 55 días, mientras todo el país intentaba descubrir dónde lo tenían escondido.Detrás del secuestro estaban las Brigadas Rojas, una organización terrorista de extrema izquierda que pretendía golpear directamente al Estado italiano. Durante su cautiverio, Moro escribió decenas de cartas pidiendo a sus compañeros de partido que negociasen para salvarle la vida. Los terroristas, mientras tanto, exigían la liberación de 13 miembros de su organización.
Y ahí comenzó uno de los dilemas políticos más bestias de la historia reciente de Italia: ¿debía el Gobierno negociar con terroristas para salvar a Aldo Moro o mantenerse firme aunque eso pudiera costarle la vida?
