Putin Tolak Gencatan Senjata di Ukraina, Sebut Kyiv Bisa Persenjatai Diri Lagi Hadapi Serangan Baru

Menurutnya, gencatan senjata hanya akan disetujui jika Kyiv mengambil langkah-langkah yang dapat diterima oleh Rusia.
Hal itu disampaikan Putin dalam konferensi pers di Astana, Kazakhstan pada Kamis (4/7/2024).
Ia menyebut, gencatan senjata dapat dimanfaatkan musuh untuk mempersenjatai diri menghadapi serangan baru.
Oleh karena itu, solusi untuk meredakan konflik harus tetap dinegosiasikan terlebih dahulu.
"Kita tidak boleh membiarkan musuh memanfaatkan gencatan senjata ini untuk meningkatkan posisinya, mempersenjatai diri," kata Putin, dikutip dari RT, Jumat (5/7/2024).
Putin menyinggung kembali perjanjian-perjanjian dengan Ukraina dari masa sebelum ia memerintahkan invasi besar-besaran.
Menurut Putin, perjanjian tersebut pada akhirnya berakhir di tong sampah.
Presiden Rusia juga menambahkan bahwa Moskow akan menunggu hasil pemilihan presiden Amerika Serikat (AS).
Hal ini penting untuk pola pikir dan preferensi pemerintahan masa depan sebelum melanjutkan dialog mengenai stabilitas strategis.
