Elezioni nel Regno Unito, Keir Starmer e il suo partito laburista hanno vinto, il paese soffre ancora depressione economica, povertà, tassi elevati e un welfare a pezzi. Questo perché i Conservatori, i Tory, governano da quattordici anni. Prima David Cameron, che ha permesso il referendum sulla Brexit e l’inizio della distruzione dello stato sociale, poi Theresa May, con le negoziazioni con l’Unione Europea, e poi Boris Johnson con la pessima gestione del COVID, aggravata da ulteriori tagli all’NHS, il servizio sanitario, ancora Liz Truss e infine Rishi Sunak. È una storia di austerità, tagli, macelleria sociale e il desiderio delle classi più ricche a Londra che, ovviamente, cercavano di fare solo i loro interessi. E che ne è del resto del popolo inglese?
