Matanzas, Ciego de Ávila y otras provincias en crisis: “Arbovirus mata y no hay respuesta oficial”
En este fragmento de “Hola! Ota-Ola”, Alex Otaola comparte el testimonio desgarrador de una joven desde Unión de Reyes, Matanzas. Denuncia que en su zona —y en municipios como Cárdenas, Perico, Jovellanos, Colón y Santa Clara— hay una pandemia no reconocida oficialmente: un arbovirus que provoca fiebre, mareos, inflamación en la cara y en menos de una semana lleva a la muerte a personas sin atención médica ni recursos.Otaola muestra imágenes de hospitales colapsados, pasillos llenos de pacientes y salas sin equipos básicos como tensiómetros. Señala cómo las autoridades no han tomado medidas y responsabiliza a la falta de alimentación, higiene y medicamentos por el avance del virus y el colapso sanitario.
El activista insiste en que la única salida es la acción colectiva. Recuerda que ha alertado durante años sobre la precariedad en Cuba y advierte que si el pueblo no actúa ahora, seguirá muriendo sin atención médica ni esperanza.
