Freed hostage Edan Alexander meets Trump at White House | LiveNOW from FOX
Edan Alexander, a former American hostage held by Hamas in Gaza, met with President Donald Trump Thursday at the White House.Edan Alexander, an American-Israeli soldier, was taken from his military base in southern Israel during Hamas' cross-border attack on Oct. 7, 2023, which set off the war in Gaza.
Raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, Alexander moved to Israel at 18 to volunteer for military service in the IDF’s Golani Brigade. He lived with his grandparents in Tel Aviv and at Kibbutz Hazor, where he was part of a group of lone soldiers, FOX News reported.
Alexander had been held for more than 19 months before his release in May.
