AS Murka, Jatuhi Tzav 9 Sanksi Imbas Kerap Blokade Jalur Pengiriman Bantuan Kemanusiaan ke Gaza

Dengan tegas Kementerian Luar Negeri Amerika Serikat (AS) pada hari Jumat, (14/6/2024).
"Pada hari ini Kementerian Luar Negeri menyatakan Tzav 9, sebuah kelompok ekstremis keras di Israel, telah menghalangi, mengganggu, dan merusak konvoi yang membawa bantuan kemanusiaan untuk warga sipil di Gaza," kata kementerian itu dalam pernyataannya, dikutip dari Anadolu Agency.
Dilaporkan, kelompok tersebut memblokade jalan di sepanjang rute dari Yordania ke Gaza, termasuk di Tepi Barat.
Selain itu, Tzav juga merusak truk bantuan dan membuang paket bantuan kemanusiaan ke jalan, kamis (13/6).
"Pada tanggal 13 Mei 2024 anggota Tzav 9 menjarah dan kemudian membakar dua truk di dekat Hebron di Tepi Barat yang membawa bantuan kemanusiaan untuk pria, wanita, dan anak-anak di Gaza."
AS menyayangkan tindakan tersebut, pasalnya bantuan kemanusiaan sangat penting untuk mencegah krisis kemanusiaan di Gaza semakin memburuk.
Lantas AS menilai, pemerintah Israel memiliki tanggung jawab untuk memastikan keamanan konvoi kemanusiaan yang singgah di Israel dan Tepi Barat dalam perjalanannya ke Gaza.
"Kami tidak menoleransi tindakan sabotase dan kekerasan yang menargetkan bantuan kemanusiaan yang penting," ujar kementerian itu.
