Fed Leaves Interest Rates Unchanged | Kevin Warsh Warns Inflation Fight Isn't Over
The US Federal Reserve has left interest rates unchanged at 3.50%–3.75% following a 9-3 vote by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). Fed Chair Kevin Warsh said the central bank remains committed to bringing inflation back to its 2% target and warned that the fight against elevated prices is far from over.During his post-meeting press conference, Warsh declared that there is 'no soft inflation target' and stressed that 'this Fed will not waver' in delivering price stability.
