About our guest:Archana Kavi is an Indian Actor, Content creator and a Youtuber. She has acted in several Malayalam movies. Her YouTube channel which goes by her name is hugely popular and she has already produced several popular web series like Meenaviyal, Toofan Mail on her channel. On the acting front she was an overnight success with her debut in the superhit movie Neelathamara directed by Lal Jose. She acted in a few movies after that, but none of them could replicate tthe success she had with Neelathamara. She acted in a serial called Rani Raja on Mazhavil Manorama, a General Entertainment Channel in Malayalam.
In this episode Archana shares her journey from being a film actor to a Youtuber and content creator. She speaks truthfully about the mental health issues that she is dealing with. She talks about the day-to-day struggles when handling the ups and downs that come with mental health disorders like Depression, Bipolar disorder and PMDD. She has always spoken truthfully about her mental health issues and continues to motivate others to accept them and seek effective treatment. She implores everyone to seek professional help by consulting Psychiatrists or Psychologists and help spread awareness about mental health issues. The stigma that surrounds mental disorders could be a roadblock, she endeavors to remove the stigma by sharing her life journey with us. Her life journey could be an inspiration to many as she has come out stronger every time she had to face a challenge. She also discusses her relationship with her ex-husband Abish Mathew and why things didn`t work out for the both of them. Her parents have been a strong support system for her all through her difficulties and continue to be her pillar of strength.
Archana is a survivor and a warrior, and these two episodes showcase her journey of struggles and how she overcame every setback, every challenge that was thrown her way.
