O consignado CLT é realmente tão seguro quanto parece — ou estamos criando um novo risco para milhões de trabalhadores e bancos?

Neste corte do Market Makers, Victor Schabbel, sócio da Ibiuna Investimentos, explica por que o crescimento do consignado privado merece atenção.

A lógica parece simples: como a parcela é descontada diretamente do salário, o consignado deveria ser uma modalidade mais segura. O problema aparece quando o trabalhador perde justamente aquilo que sustenta essa segurança: o emprego.

Victor explica por que a expansão de uma linha de crédito diretamente ligada ao emprego formal pode deixar o sistema ainda mais sensível a uma eventual alta do desemprego. Ele também discute inadimplência, endividamento das famílias, bancos digitais, crescimento da oferta de crédito e a forte demanda dos brasileiros por financiamento.

E há outro ponto importante: ter prioridade de pagamento não significa necessariamente que um empréstimo tenha uma garantia real para o banco.
