Kericuhan pecah saat sejumlah anggota polisi menjadi sasaran amukan massa yang memprotes kebijakan kenaikan Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan (PBB).
Dalam rekaman video yang beredar di media sosial, polisi tampak lari terbirit-birit dikejar ratusan pendemo.
Aparat polisi juga dilempari es batu hingga tong sampah oleh massa.
Dalam video tersebut, seorang pendemo berbaju kuning bahkan mencoba menjegal anggota polisi hingga terjatuh.
Hingga kini, belum diketahui nasib dua polisi yang terekam dalam video amatir berdurasi 23 detik tersebut.
Selain itu, kericuhan juga terjadi saat Bupati Sudewo menemui massa menggunakan kendaraan lapis baja milik polisi.
Baru mengucapkan salam, Sudewo langsung dilempari sandal dan gelas air mineral.
Petugas di sekitarnya sigap melindungi Sudewo dengan tameng untuk menghalau lemparan dari massa.
