Gunung Lewotobi Laki-laki Erupsi: Kolom Abu Capai 18 Kilometer, Warga Diminta Menjauh
NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR, KOMPAS.TV - Gunung Lewotobi Laki-laki di Flores Timur, Nusa Tenggara Timur, kembali mengalami erupsi.Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi mencatat tinggi kolom abu vulkanik mencapai 18 kilometer dari puncak kawah dan menyebar ke arah barat.
Sejumlah desa di sekitar lereng gunung diguyur hujan pasir dan kerikil. Dampak serupa juga dirasakan di beberapa wilayah Kabupaten Sikka.
Masyarakat diminta tidak beraktivitas dalam radius 7 kilometer dari kawah gunung karena adanya potensi erupsi susulan.
