Resistencia ante la guerra: la Batalla de Shanghai de 1932

La Batalla de Shanghai, también conocida como el Incidente del 28 de enero, fue otro acto de agresión japonesa tras el Incidente del 18 de septiembre, o de Mukden, con el que Japón buscaba expandir su control sobre el territorio chino. Soldados y civiles chinos se alzaron en una heroica resistencia, marcando el inicio de la primera batalla a gran escala entre las fuerzas chinas y japonesas en lo que sería la Guerra de Resistencia contra Japón, que se prolongó entre 1931 y 1945.
