Demo Berujung Rusuh, Eks Ketua Komnas HAM: Apa Ada Perekayasa, Pasti! - DUA ARAH
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Eks Ketua Komnas HAM, Ahmad Taufan Damanik menduga ada perekayasa di balik demo akhir Agustus yang berujung rusuh sehingga menelan korban jiwa.Damanik menilai bahwa pola ini telah terjadi sejak demonstrasi pada tahun 2019.
"Siapa di baliknya kita harus minta kepolisian membuktikan, bahwa ini apa ada perekayasa, ya pasti dan itu sudah saya katakan pada tahun 2019," ujar Damanik, Jakarta, pada Jumat (5/9/2025).
Ia menambahkan bahwa perlu adanya investigasi secara sistemik dan komprehensif terkait penanganan demo agar menghindari jatuhnya korban jiwa.
