Bastille Day adalah Hari Nasional Perancis yang diperingati setiap 14 Juli setiap tahun.
Tanggal ini menandai jatuhnya Penjara Bastille pada 14 Juli 1789, sebuah peristiwa penting yang menjadi simbol dimulainya Revolusi Perancis.
Dalam peringatan tahun ini, Presiden Prabowo Subianto menyaksikan langsung parade Bastille Day bersama Presiden Perancis, Emmanuel Macron, Senin (14/07/2025) waktu setempat.
Indonesia hadir sebagai tamu kehormatan bersamaan dengan momen peringatan 75 tahun hubungan kedua negara.
Peringatan Bastille Day tahun ini turut menorehkan sejarah bagi kontingen Satgas Patriot II, gabungan personel TNI - Polri yang tampil sebagai pasukan pembuka.
Mereka melakukan parade sepanjang 1,5 kilometer di jalanan Paris.
Malam harinya, Presiden Prabowo menghadiri jamuan makan malam di Istana Elise, Paris.
Presiden Prabowo dan Macron juga memanfaatkan momen makan malam untuk bertukar pandangan mengenai berbagai isu strategis kedua negara maupun global.
