ORANG-UTAN-BABY GEBOREN: Seltene Geburt im Zoo Madrid gibt HoffnungGroße Freude im Zoo Aquarium de Madrid: Ein stark gefährdeter Borneo-Orang-Utan kommt zur Welt. Neue Aufnahmen zeigen, wie die Mutter ihr wenige Tage altes Jungtier eng an sich hält – ein bewegender Moment voller Fürsorge. Nach rund 8,5 Monaten Trächtigkeit wurde das Männchen am 02.04.2026 geboren. Es wiegt etwa 1,5 Kilogramm und entwickelt sich laut Tierpflegern gesund und aufmerksam. Die Geburt gilt als wichtiger Erfolg im Artenschutz, denn der Lebensraum dieser Menschenaffen schrumpft dramatisch.
