PLO | Bạn cùng trường tiết lộ thông tin ‘sốc’ về kẻ bắn ông Trump, nghi phạm là ‘người bị ruồng bỏ’Rạng sáng 14-7 (theo giờ Mỹ), đài CNN dẫn thông báo từ Cục Điều tra Liên bang Mỹ (FBI) rằng cơ quan này xác định Thomas Matthew Crooks là nghi phạm bắn cựu Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump vào ngày 13-7 khi ông đang vận động tranh cử ở TP Butler, bang Pennsylvania. Nghi phạm bắn ông Trump làm công việc hỗ trợ chế độ ăn uống tại Trung tâm Phục hồi và Điều dưỡng Chuyên môn Bethel Park - một viện dưỡng lão gần nhà nghi phạm. Nghi phạm Crooks từng bị bắt nạt ở trường trung học, không hòa nhập với các học sinh khác và các bạn cùng lớp cũ mô tả nghi phạm là người trầm tính. Một người bạn cùng lớp (giấu tên) của nghi phạm nói với CNN rằng Crooks rất thông minh, tham gia các lớp học danh dự và rất xuất sắc.
Jason Kohler, người tốt nghiệp trường trung học Bethel Park một năm trước Crooks, đã mô tả nghi phạm là một "kẻ bị ruồng bỏ", người "luôn cô đơn". “Tôi muốn nói rằng anh ấy là một người cô độc bởi vì anh ấy luôn im lặng. Có vẻ anh ấy cũng bị bắt nạt rất nhiều”.
