Purnawirawan Polisi Menipu Warga 1,4 Miliar dengan Modus Bimbingan Masuk Bintara Polri
MEDAN, KOMPAS.TV- FB Seorang pensiunan polisi di Medan, Sumatra Utara tertangkap polisi karena menipu warga dengan nominal mencapai Rp1,4 miliar. Ia melakukan penipuan tersebut bersama istrinya dan seorang wanita yang bekerja untuknya.Adapun modus yang dilakukan adalah membuka kelas atau bimbingan belajar untuk masuk sebagai calon siswa Bintara Polri di daerah Selambo, Medan. Pada praktiknya ketika proses pelatihan berjalan dan mendekati masa ujian, para pelaku ini memberikan iming-iming jika anak korban bisa lolos sebagai polisi lewat jalur khusus dari pelaku, namun harus membayar sejumlah uang.
Para pelaku tersebut meminta uang dengan jumlah yang beragam, mulai dari Rp170 juta hingga Rp430 juta. Adapun kerugian para korban jika dijumlahkan mencapai Rp1,4 miliar.
Kepada awak media pihak kepolisian menegaskan, ada dugaan bahwa terdapat korban lainnya, sebab kelas bimbingan tersebut telah berdiri sejak tahun 2015 dan setiap periodenya lebih dari 50 peserta , sehinga ada kemungkinan permintaan uang yang serupa kepada para korban.
Ketika berita ini dibuat, pihak kepolisian masih melakukan penyelidikan tentang ada atau tidaknya polisi aktif yang terlibat dalam praktik tersebut.
