Vibe Season Day 24 | Designing a Smarter Way to Connect the Webflow Community

In this Vibe Season build, the Community team’s Mary Findley designs an interactive Webflow Community Directory focused on helping members discover, connect, and collaborate with one another—more intentionally and more easily.

Watch Mary create a polished, welcoming experience where community members can browse detailed profiles, search by keywords, and filter by region, expertise, interests, certifications, and learning goals. To make discovery even more engaging, she adds a thoughtful connection quiz that recommends relevant people based on shared interests, complementary skills, and collaboration preferences.

With curated recommendations, clear next steps, and a tone that’s inclusive, warm, and purposeful, Mary’s build shows how Webflow can strengthen real community connections through thoughtful design during Vibe Season.

Day 24 Prompt:
Design an interactive Webflow Community Directory with a Connection Quiz that helps community members discover and connect with one another based on shared interests, complementary skills, location, and collaboration goals. The experience should include a searchable, filterable directory with detailed member profiles (name, region, expertise, certifications, interests, learning goals, and collaboration openness), a polished and welcoming UI with clear microcopy and optional serendipitous discovery (e.g., random profile), and a concise 4–8 question quiz that gathers interests, skills to learn and share, collaboration preferences, working styles, and region/timezone. Use quiz responses to generate personalized recommendations highlighting overlapping interests, complementary expertise, and opportunities for mutual learning, with clear calls to action and the ability to refine matches, restart the quiz, or save profiles. The overall tone should be warm, professional, and community-centered, and the implementation should be modular, well-documented, include all necessary UI components, and ship with at least 10 diverse sample community profiles.
