La mattina in cui Roberto Gazzetti ha firmato il suo contratto a tempo indeterminato, il sorriso gli illuminava il volto più di quanto avesse sperato in anni di sacrifici. Cinquantadue anni trascorsi tra supplenze e corsi di aggiornamento, aspettando l’occasione di diventare finalmente "professore di sostegno" con una stabilità che sembrava un miraggio. Ma il sogno è durato appena quattro giorni: una comunicazione improvvisa, una fredda mail istituzionale, e quella gioia si è trasformata in incredulità e rabbia.
La vicenda ha il sapore amaro della beffa. Da tempo docente all’istituto Mandela di Castelnovo, Gazzetti rappresentava in qualche modo la dedizione e la speranza di tanti professionisti della scuola italiana, costretti a rincorrere una stabilità che spesso si scontra con errori tecnici e gestioni burocratiche poco attente. E proprio un errore tecnico ha mandato in frantumi il suo sogno: la revoca del contratto, sancita da procedure amministrative che sembrano ignorare la portata umana delle loro decisioni.
La presenza di due liste con solo la prima che sarebbe dovuta valere, e la seconda in cui Gazzetti era elencato, ha indotto l'errore, ma un errore che cambia tutto.
"Quando ho letto quella mail ho avuto un mancamento", racconta ormai con un filo di voce, mentre attende chiarimenti e cerca di non lasciare che la delusione cancelli anni di lavoro e passione. La storia di Roberto Gazzetti non è un caso isolato, ma la fotografia di una realtà che coinvolge tanti insegnanti, suddivisi tra amarezza e la vana speranza di vedere riconosciuto il proprio valore.
Il destino di Gazzetti oggi appare sospeso, tra amarezza e voglia di riscatto. Ma il lieto fine, al momento, è un miraggio.
E' probabile che all'insegnante spetterà un risarcimento, "perché gli errori si pagano", come dice con la voce rotta a Francesco Caselli, ma la cattedra dovrà aspettare altri sviluppi: "Se magari qualcuno farà in modo di farsi assegnare la cattedra altrove, o se qualcuno lascerà, potrò rientrare nel ruolo. Nel frattempo provo a dormire, perché non ci riesco più".
