Daping Weng - Weaves from T-Shifting Plabic Graphs - IPAM at UCLA

Recorded 26 October 2026. Daping Weng of the University of North Carolina presents "Weaves from T-Shifting Plabic Graphs" at IPAM's Contact Geometry, Cluster Algebras and Skein Theory Workshop.
Abstract: Plabic graphs are important combinatorial tools for describing cluster structures. By implementing a combinatorial procedure called T-shift, we can turn reduced plabic graphs on a disk into weaves, thereby producing Demazure weaves that describe cluster structures on open positroid varieties. As an application, we prove that the Muller-Speyer twist on open positroid varieties coincides with the Donaldson-Thomas transformation, and consequently, proving that the source labeling seeds and the target labeling seeds on the same open positroid variety are quasi-cluster equivalent. In this talk, I will go over the basics of the T-shift procedure and discuss generalizations to plabic fences as well as 3d plabic graphs. This talk is based on a joint work with R. Casals, I. Le, M. Sherman-Bennett, and a joint work in progress with R. Casals and S. Kim

TubeReader video aggregator is a website that collects and organizes online videos from the YouTube source. Video aggregation is done for different purposes, and TubeReader take different approaches to achieve their purpose.

Our try to collect videos of high quality or interest for visitors to view; the collection may be made by editors or may be based on community votes.

Another method is to base the collection on those videos most viewed, either at the aggregator site or at various popular video hosting sites.

TubeReader site exists to allow users to collect their own sets of videos, for personal use as well as for browsing and viewing by others; TubeReader can develop online communities around video sharing.

Our site allow users to create a personalized video playlist, for personal use as well as for browsing and viewing by others.
